BOOTIE’S CANDIED SWEET POTATOES

1 Cup Brown sugar
1/4 Cup Butter
1/4 Cup Water
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Package Miniature marshmallows
6 Sweet Potatoes -- Boiled
Mix sugar, butter, water and salt in a heavy skillet; cook until mixture boils. Add sweet potatoes and cook slowly, turning occasionally, about 20 minutes or until potatoes are caramelly. Place potatoes in a 2x13x9 inch pan and cover with miniature marshmallows. Place pan in oven and broil for two to three minutes, watching carefully, until marshmallows are melted and browned.
